We endeavor to respond within 24 hours to invitations for our authors to be interviewed or to speak publicly.
Special Note to Prospective Authors
We are happy to accept queries up to 500 words in length for nonfiction books only. (We do not represent children's books, cookbooks or works of fiction.) We will respond to any query which falls into categories we do represent, but we request your patience! Due to very high volume, we take up to eight weeks to assess nonfiction book ideas.

Another Special Note to Prospective Authors
Despite our guidelines, many authors still submit proposals for children's books, cookbooks, works of fiction - or even for previously published books. We do not represent these types of books and regret we cannot respond to queries for books that do not fall into categories we represent. We do encourage all authors to persevere in finding the right agent and publisher. Please refer to our Reading List for great resources that can lead you in the right direction!
